Despite facing numerous challenges, including poverty and lack of recognition, he devoted himself to his craft, producing an impressive collection of 840 paintings, 850 drawings, and watercolors in just ten short years.

In his final months, he painted tirelessly, completing 70 paintings and over 30 drawings in the last 70 days of his life.
